Our Review

Launched in 2011, OurTime is a matchmaking website for a 50+ audience. It belongs to People Media, which is owned by the parent company IAC. The company also operates Match.com and other famous dating brands. OurTime was merged with SeniorPeopleMeet and SeniorsMeet in 2019 so that now users have greater chances of finding partners due to the large member base of the OurTime brand.

In order to join OurTime, first of all you need to register.

Registration Process (<10 Minutes)

The registration process is simple and smooth. Unlike the majority of dating sites, OurTime does not have an email verification system, you can log in to your profile immediately after registering. However, the site will encourage you to verify your account via SMS later on.

Step 2. Choose your country and enter your zip code.

Step 3. Enter your first name and choose your password.

Design and User Experience

The website has a clean and attractive design. The main theme plays with violet, blue, black and white colors. It may look a little bit outdated for some, however, the website is well-structured and organized. The text font is easy-to-read and pleasing to the eye. The interface is user friendly and easy-to-navigate for users with minimal technical skills. There are five main tabs on the top: Home, Inbox, Search, Matches and Tokens which you can buy if you wish to use just some of the special features while having a Standard Free Membership.

The mobile app visually looks and works in the same way as its desktop counterpart. The menus are easily accessible and the text font is clearly visible which is extremely important for the mature target audience of the brand. In terms of usability, the mobile app might be a better choice. You can search for other members or chat with your matches while on the go or lying down in your bed.

The main feature of the site is its Profile Builder aimed to make the profile creation process easier and quicker.
